Congressman Yoho has made governmental contacts all over the world and has had personal meetings with Presidents, Prime Ministers and top military leaders. In the 115th Congress (2016-2018) he introduced legislation and worked bipartisanly to pass the BUILD Act that created the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC). This legislation was the largest, most significant reform to United States foreign aid in decades. By creating the DFC the U.S. Government can now partner up with other nations’ development finance entities and private enterprises along with private equity firms to create large, significant infrastructure projects in developing countries. In addition, Congressman Yoho authored other significant legislation strengthening our nation’s foreign and agriculture policies.
